This wine comes from the westernmost part of mainland Spain, just above Portugal. It is located against the fjords of the Atlantic Ocean. The surface is granite. You wonder how grapes can still thrive here, but apparently the conditions are perfect for making such a beautiful wine.

Of course, that doesn't happen automatically. Winemaker Marcos Lojo has already achieved some great results in other areas and so also here. Coming from 23 affiliated selected wine growers, he makes a balanced and sturdy dry white mineral wine.

I course my University studies of Tec. Engineer in Food Industries (University of Santiago de Compostella), and Winemaker.

I started working as a winemaker in 1995 in different wineries in Spain and Portugal, Rías Baixas, Valdeorras, Ribeiro, Utiel-Requena, Sierras de Málaga, Rueda, Rioja and Ribera del Duero and Vinhos Verdes.

The creation of wines throughout all these years has been a constant search to enclose in a bottle, the lands and culture of each town through which I have passed.

In 2020, he started a new journey, creating the Wine and Winery, Pedras Loiras. With which it pays homage to the Atlantic wines of granite lands of Val Do Salnés.

"Pedras Loiras", whose meaning is Piedras Rubias, in reference to the color that granitic rock acquires during its mineralization process.

A winery is built in Cambados, and 23 farms dedicated to old vineyards of the Albariño grape (8 Ha.) are acquired, which are located in Vilanova de Arousa, Ribadumia, Méis and Cambados)
